What is included in this version?
This guide covers the gray CupboardStore set of four holders, model 85149. Joseph Joseph describes individual adhesive-backed holders for lids from 16 to 24 cm in diameter, with 3M VHB tape. It is a different product from the newer three-piece or stainless steel lid-holder sets.
Check the exact set when comparing prices. A two-piece steel set and a four-piece plastic set cannot be compared by the package price alone. Nor should the larger capacity or different fitting instructions of another version be transferred to this one.
A lid needs clearance beyond the holder

Do not describe this as a universally renter-friendly solution. Strong adhesive and an unknown cabinet finish are a meaningful combination to consider before buying. If you need an easily reversible arrangement, compare a suitable freestanding lid rack instead.
Be cautious about claims from older reviews
An enthusiastic review may show a heavier or larger lid being used in a way the current product information does not support. Use the official fit guidance and supplied instructions as your limit rather than treating one buyer's success as an approved installation method.
We have not tested adhesive life or pull-off performance. We would not buy this to experiment with oversized valuable glass lids or improvised multi-holder arrangements. A tidy cabinet is useful, but the support must suit the exact lid and surface.
When the upgrade is worth it
Buy the set when door-mounted storage creates usable space and all the fit checks pass. Skip it when the main issue is too many pieces of cookware or when your cabinet has no clear door area. Adhesive holders cannot solve an overcrowded shelf by themselves.
Our verdict is a conditional yes for a verified setup. A freestanding organizer is the better value when avoiding adhesive matters more than using the door. Keep your existing storage if it already lets you retrieve the right lid without rearranging the cupboard.
