The bamboo model’s stated dimensions are about 39.7 cm deep and 11.5 cm wide. Joseph Joseph specifies a minimum drawer height of 8.5 cm for this exact product. Confirm the selected SKU because plastic and large bamboo versions differ.

Measure the drawer’s usable interior and the opening it passes through. Handles may sit above the tray, and rails can reduce the practical clearance. Close the drawer slowly in a careful fit test; do not force a loaded organizer under an obstruction.

A model number change is not a reason to replace a working tool

Brother’s D210 page lists 14 fonts, 98 frames and 600 symbols. The D220 page lists 14 fonts, 99 frames and more than 600 symbols, with 25 preset templates. Those counts do not establish a major practical improvement for someone printing simple folder or cupboard labels.

Check the labels you actually make. If the old machine produces clear names in the right size, replacing it mainly to gain another frame is poor value. New buyers should instead compare the D220’s current price, power package and available local support.

Tape width is the meaningful limit

The D220 supports Brother TZe tapes up to about half an inch, or 12mm, and up to two print lines in the checked specifications. A two-line label does not create more physical width. If you need larger lettering visible from across a room, choose a model and tape width designed for that job.

Decide which two jobs it will replace

Umbra describes the removable lid as a tabletop or seat and the body as storage, with integrated carrying handles. Those functions are most useful in a room where another separate piece would occupy valuable space. They are less persuasive if the stool would sit beside a basket and table you intend to keep.

Try placing a temporary object of similar size beside your chair. Check reach, room for your knees and the path around the furniture. A small item can still be awkward when it sits in the only route between the sofa and the door.

Check the actual storage shape

The manufacturer’s listed overall dimensions are approximately 40 × 28 × 41cm. Overall measurements are not internal storage measurements, and the tapered curved body is different from a rectangular box.
