Brother lists P-touch Editor for both machines and iPrint&Label mobile printing for the D460BT. Check the current app and operating-system support before purchase. Bluetooth on the printer is not a promise that every phone app can print to it.

The display upgrade is easy to overlook

Brother rates the ADS-1300 at up to 30 pages per minute under its specified Letter-size, 300 dpi conditions. Canon rates the R10 at up to 12 ppm in black and white and 9 ppm in colour. These are manufacturer ratings, not our timed results; resolution and processing change the wait.

For a monthly folder of bills, sorting and naming files can take longer than the scan. For repeated large stacks, the Brother’s higher rating makes more sense. Count how many pages you actually scan each week before paying for unused speed.

Check the workflow before the footprint

Both manufacturers specify a 20-sheet feeder and two-sided scanning. A feeder capacity is not permission to push through stapled receipts, sticky notes or damaged pages. Remove attachments, straighten the stack and follow the paper specifications.

Samsung’s FIT Plus data sheet lists up to 300MB/s reads for 64GB and up to 400MB/s for 128GB through 512GB. SanDisk’s checked Ultra Fit page also qualifies its up-to-400MB/s claim by capacity. These are read-speed claims, not guaranteed write speeds.

Compare the exact capacity on the offer you will buy. A retailer may show the biggest speed for the entire product family beside a smaller selected size. Older stock and revised packaging also deserve attention. Do not assume a familiar model name freezes the specification forever.

Peak speed is not the whole comparison

Samsung’s T7-family brochure advertises up to 1,050MB/s reads and 1,000MB/s writes under the required USB 3.2 Gen 2 and UASP conditions. A USB-C connector by itself does not establish that performance. The computer port, cable, source device and files all affect a transfer.

Check your actual job: copying a few documents is different from writing a large video project. Tom’s Hardware’s separate 1TB and 2TB Shield tests found strong sustained writing, but results belong to those tested capacities and conditions. Do not turn them into a promise for every capacity or computer.

Protection is useful when the drive moves

Logitech’s MK470 description identifies low-profile scissor keys and a compact keyboard that still includes a number pad. MK295 uses a more conventional full-size arrangement. A photograph can make both look equally compact, so check the dimensions and key spacing against your actual desk.

The important question is whether you prefer a laptop-like stroke or a more familiar desktop feel. PCWorld’s firsthand MK470 review treats it as a budget bundle with particular typing and mouse compromises. It is not evidence that everyone will prefer slim keys.

Judge the mouse independently

Logitech identifies the consumer M240 as a Bluetooth mouse with no dongle required. The M330 connects through its USB receiver. Check your computer before choosing: a USB-C-only laptop may need an adapter for the M330 receiver, while an older desktop may lack usable Bluetooth.

Do not confuse the consumer M240 with M240 for Business. Logitech’s business range has different connection and package details. Match the complete product name, not just the number, and avoid assuming an old Logitech receiver will work with a new mouse.

Hand fit matters more than a small price difference

The M240 is a compact, either-hand design. The M330 is sold with a right-hand-oriented contour. RTINGS’ M240 testing and an owner comparison both reinforce that a compact shape is a preference to evaluate, rather than a comfort guarantee.

Measure against a mouse you already like. If you have a large hand or dislike compact travel mice, a low price may not compensate for poor support. Quiet clicks do not make the entire workstation silent
